I've been trying to change the way people look at professional wrestling for years at this point. Whether it is coming up with a new match concept (Key to the Future, Strong Style Shoot Fight) or being the first person to do the match in Maine (Scaffold Match, Hog Pen Match)...I've wanted to be different.
More importantly, I wanted to prove I was different. Why pay your hard earned money to see the same thing everytime? I know I wouldn't.
So I have a proposal to do something a little different and to prove I am a little more talented than nearly everyone I've set foot in the ring with.
On Friday, June 1st in Fairfield, I want to take on IWE's best. With that being said, I don't just want a regular ol' rasslin' match. I want something different.
A Gentlemen's Agreement. Between two of the best wrestlers in the state of Maine.
The rules are simple: Obey the rules.
One warning for any infraction based upon the rulebook of pro wrestling. After the second infraction, it is an immediate disqualification.
This should be interesting...as I KNOW that I am talented enough to wrestle any style, under any rules, against anybody in the WORLD.
So this is the open challenge...but you must play by the rules. Who thinks they can beat me in a "Gentlemen's Agreement" match-up?

Well there Cameron here is a idea.Have you seen Casey Duncan as of late?I believe you owe him a rematch from the last time you two had a match here in Brewer. This time you say you want a clean match with no trickery or breaking of rules. That would take at least 2 refs one in the ring and one out.O did i forget to mention that Casey is well chiseled now since he has became part of Luke Robinson's Wolf Pack.Maybe even Luke could be the other ref? Well if you have the guts make this match happen. This is a match that will draw fans in.No guts no glory end of your story. ;D

It is an OPEN challenge. I believe that means ANYONE...except you. You are a moron. I will not challenge morons. Plus you don't have a ride to Fairfield.
So the requirements for this match are to follow the rules AND have enough gas money to get to Fairfield. So that still leaves a lot of options. Who is going to answer the challenge?
Casey Duncan? Sure. If I want a night off and the fans need a 5 minute bathroom break
Luke Robinson? Sure. If he finally dares to see who the best in the state is. I don't need a reality show.
I just want a challenge. Someone on my level.

I just want a challenge. Someone on my level. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You offered me $500.00 dollars to wrestle you once and i laughed at the petty cash you offered me and now you say you refuse to wrestle me. What i wrote at first on this subject was not about me or even Luke Robinson. It was about Casey Duncan who has changed ,beefed up in muscle and matured unlike you. As i recall in your last match up with Duncan you cheated and had your little so called gang of misfits jump Casey and give him a beaten and take him out.Well he healed up nicely. Now as far as Luke Robinson goes i simply mentioned him since he runs the Wolf Pack which Casey Duncan joined to get back in shape and it worked because unlike you Duncan is now chiseled. I stated to have a match like your asking for there should be at least 2 refs one in the ring and one out to make sure it was a clean honest match followed by the rules. I m,early suggested Robinson be one of those refs so he can make sure his pack member does not fall victim to another of your thus related attacks which i think if did happen Duncan would take care of. I find it funny that a moron like you is calling someone else a moron. I retired along time ago before you were even born . I had my time in the spotlight and now it is time for others to get their chance to shine. I just get upset when wrestlers today are killing wrestling. There is no respect today which there was back then. The mask is a sacred item in wrestling and it upsets me when wrestlers today kill that gimmick by finding the need to make sure fans know who it is behind that mask. John Doe in a mask is not John Doe it is John Doe playing the part of who the mask represents. Back in the day Wrestlers were not chummy with fans like today yet every venue was sold out unlike today. A wrestler came and did his or hers match then left and moved on to the next venue and so on.If a wrestler needed gas money or to eat and lodge he or she would hold a autograph signing to get said funds. A masked wrestler or a painted one wore said product from the time they left their place till just before they went to bed at night. That way it kept people guessing . In a match a wrestler may looked at a fan and either smile or growl which made said fan feel noticed yet that fan or fans didn't know who the wrestler was yet maybe that wrestler may know who they were. With say a masked wrestler and that wrestler say gets hurt in a match but has another match coming up there may be another wrestler on standby similar build who would wear that mask and fill in while the other healed up. That is part of which makes the mask sacred. When wrestlers today find the need to make sure everybody knows it is them under that mask or demask themselves to let fans know it was them who wore that mask you kill the gimmick for someone else to take over. What i have said should be common to most fans so it is not like i broke any codes or violated anything. ;D

The challenge to you was issued and you hid. I offered you $1000 to face me but you wouldn't. Waiver and all. You are all talk. Anyday that you can come up with $500, I will be willing to double it and the winner gets the others money. $1000 if you win, $500 if I win. But you won't. Everyone sees who you really are.
Since I last faced Casey Duncan, I have matured and bulked up. Quite a bit. Has anyone else seen pictures of me from 2009 compared to 2012? I haven't bulked up? I am blown away by your ignorance.
There's only a few "Wolfpacks" that I know about.
The red and black of the nWo Wolfpac of which Scott Hall was quite important to. You know Scott Hall, right? Razor Ramon? Made millions of dollars. Well, he was a trainer at the school I worked out at in Orlando, Florida.
The other "Wolfpack" was in "The Hangover".
Which Wolfpack is Robinson's like?
The match I proposed did NOT need 2 referees. What it did need? A Gentlemen's Agreement. Two wrestlers who followed their word.
I, sometimes to a fault, am honest. Very honest. Who else tells people they suck to their faces? Who else calls out people for being punks?
I find it humorous that someone as intellectual as yourself has to use the term "moron" to define the word "moron."
You retired from WHAT? WWF? I've heard the stories. Why is their no evidence of your claims? I can back up EVERYTHING I say with evidence.
I am not even going to waste energy with your accusations on what is "killing" wrestling. As I believe people like YOU are what is wrong with wrestling. Don't get me wrong, there are A LOT of things wrong with wrestling. You being my number 2 least favorite part of IWE (in Brewer, since you can't afford to leave that area)
You bring up "codes" and "secrets" like you are a big deal knowing them. Anyone with GOOGLE can find out everything you've said.
I can do this all day.
June 1st - The Challenge will be answered. 1 Referee, 2 Wrestlers. I'm excited to challenge my skills.

I'm not sure I comprehend what the issue is. Any perceived issue Casey Duncan may have with Cameron Mathews and the Superfecta crowd he was hanging out with was three years ago. Let Casey Duncan take that issue up with Mathews on his own time. Don't try to force the issue onto him. A lot has changed since Mathews's Superfecta days. The Cameron Mathews that fans know and love today is a lot different than the Cameron Mathews fans remember from 2009 when the Superfecta was running rampant. The Cameron Mathews fans will likely see three years from now, I'm sure will be a lot different from the Cameron Mathews that fans see today. People change as time goes on. People (ideally) evolve. Otherwise, they stagnate and they get complacent. That's why fans pay good money to see a guy like Cameron Mathews set foot inside a wrestling ring. They want to see what he's capable of and they're eager to see what he will think of next.

I also believe i also said you need to raise the stakes and that it would be your last match ever hence the the waiver being needing to be sighed by you. That was 3 years ago. I made the comment about Casey Duncan because he does deserve a rematch and he has grown and matured from 3 years ago as well as beefed up and gotten in better shape than you and i believe has more muscle than you. I think a match between you two would be a great draw and ones fans would really enjoy. What is your # 1 least part of I.W.E. if i am # 2? Is it that I.W.E. will not put up with your crap? What are you waiting for a less talented wrestler to-take you up on your offer so you can act like a big shot know it all and dominate the match rather Duncan or maybe even someone who is making their return to I.W.E. real soon? ;D

For those of us around Cameron Mathews often, he has become one of the best in-ring technicians in the state of Maine, whether wrestling for IWE, NWA On Fire or whatever. His match with Mark Moment recently in Brewer is a good case in point. Yes, it was a draw, but that battle had everything, with both competitors giving it their all.
This sounds like something personal between Cameron and Nightmare. Obviously, there are some wounds here.
All I can say is, I would love to see any match where Cameron Mathews can show off his skills.
Now, I also know Luke Robinson well. Does anyone out there believe Luke would wrestle a match cleanly? I know for a fact he will do whatever it takes to win, and if bending the rules is necessary, he will not think twice. He wasn't the NWA On Fire champion for 18 months for nothing. He knew how to bend the rules to his liking, and almost always came out on top, including some classic matches with Cameron Mathews.
As far as Casey Duncan goes, I do not know him, but what happened years ago came during a different time in Cameron Mathews' life. Let's not punish him for that. I choose to think of Cameron the way he is now, a wonderfully gifted athlete who can go toe-to-toe with anyone in the business, just like he did not too long ago against Impact Wrestling's Robbie E. What a superb match that was.

Again, this is an OPEN CHALLENGE. Anybody can answer it. I am not sure is this is that hard of a concept to understand. If Casey or Luke or Steve or Jimbob or whomever want to have match of the night in Fairfield on Friday then challenge me.
As for Bob Conn saying that I am "one of the best" in Maine, I challenge him to find someone better...especially when it comes to hold-for-hold technical wrestling ability. Casey Duncan? Luke Robinson? Mark Moment? Legion Cage?
I have said it for years, as have others, I am the best professional wrestler to come out of the state of Maine.
Anyone else think "yournightmare" (ha) can't come up with $500 to face me? If he is as badass as he pretends to be online then why wouldn't he take 2 minutes to earn $1000?
I will be sure to give you a high five after you tell me how great I am in person...or is that one of your other personalities that is a fan of mine?

I think Mark Moment has a point here Cameron. He gave you everything you could handle and more in Brewer last month in a match you came up with. It was a close, great match, but you didn't distance yourself from the Tower of Power. The Captain had you ahead by a point. The ref Chris Barry had you behind, and I scored it a draw.
And, as far as being "one of the best in Maine," you are. But, you could go one-on-one with a Luke Robinson, Mark Moment or several others who will give you as much as you dish out.
By saying you are one of the best in this state, that was a compliment, not an insult. The last time I checked, you don't have a heavyweight title in your possession. Instead of worrying about proving it to everyone around you who supports you, go after Jivin Jimmy, Frankie Flash, hell, step up and give Brian Fury a shout and see if you can put the Firebrand's shoulders to the mat.
By holding a heavyweight title, no one would dare say you are not worthy of all the praise you deserve.
As far as your continuing war of words with Nightmare, why waste the time?

To my knowledge, Brian Fury has never held residence in the state. Am I wrong?
By holding a "heavyweight championship", that proves I am good? So you are saying every Heavyweight Champion is better than I am? Frankie Flash? Ricky Williams? Jivin' Jimmy? Primer? John The Bomb? Captain Freedom? The list of champions can go on and on and on.
To be honest, I don't have a clue who the hell is the "champion" in any wrestling companies in Maine. What I do know is those "champs" don't draw, intrigue or entertain near as well as the only Champ. Champ Mathews.
Mark Moment has turned into a piss ant since 2010 when he stopped training with greatness. "The Golden Boy" didn't have to challenge his athletism until I came along.
The short of it is...Champ Mathews is the best. I get just as many high fives from the fans in the locker room as I do from the people who buy tickets.

True. I can only speak for myself in saying I am a fan of what Cameron Mathews does in the ring.
Do I think you're No. 1 and that everyone should christen you as the undisputed Maine champion? No! There are others. Do I think you're better than IWE champ Frankie Flash, Ricky Williams, Global Champ Jivin' Jimmy, Primer, John The Bomb? Yes! Have I seen you have great matches that received rave reviews from the fans and the locker room? Yes! Are you respected among your peers? Absolutely!
Hell, most of what you said is correct. I think you know how good you are, but you can be better. You can be the best quarterback in the NFL, but if Tom Brady doesn't win a Super Bowl, is he truthfully the best? There have been quarterbacks who have been great (Dan Marino, Jim Kelly) that never won the big one, but they stand behind the Bradys and Montanas, guys who have what it takes to be a champion.
Why the football analogy? Because I think what is missing from you are titles. You can say you're the best, hell even be the best, but gold is what makes you get really noticed. So get nasty, demand title shots, win those matches, and increase your collection of chips.
And, lastly, Brian Fury does not take up residence in Maine. He is from Salem, New Hampshire. In a match pitting Cameron Mathews against Brian Fury, who wins? Tough to call! But, you would give him one hell of a match. But, in the end, Fury, come hell or high water, wins the match by any means necessary.
That is what a champion does!
