Thank you for everyone concerning the birthday wishes. Another year older, not much wiser, a little bit less hair, but overall, everything is great. Plus, I get to stand inside a wrestling ring and see all of the fans over the next two weekends. Don't get much better than that.
See you all in Brewer on Saturday and don't forget that NWA On Fire action kicks off on April 13 in Springvale's Nasson Community Center and on Saturday night, April 14 in Gardiner at Laura E. Richard School, a benefit for young Zach Bowman. It will be a great couple weekends of wrestling action for sure.

That's what we like about you, Conn Man. You do things the Conn way and you don't make any apologies for it. Keep up the good work and hope your birthday was happy. : )

The last thing on my birthday.
I had a great time in Brewer this past Saturday, April 7, that is until the main event when Lord Lawless took me out and cost the Tenacious Two a victory against the Towers of Pain.
Here is a rundown for those who missed the show.
One thing, this show was superb from top to bottom. I hope the fans had a great time.
We had great action throughout the night, including Mistress Belmont retaining her IWE women's title against Naughty Adrianna; Scotty Vegas and Viper defeating Larry Wilder, Roadblock and Ali in a handicap match; Jivin Jimmy defeating Ryan Michaels to retain the Global title; Kyle Huntley and his new partner Killer Kyle Krupp keeping the IWE tag titles in a solid three-way match with Da Bomb Squad and the Power Rangers; and IWE champ Mr. Canada Ricky Williams narrowly avoiding losing his title to rock star Chris Cole by getting himself disqualified. All this after his gang of thugs and the champ took out Frankie Flash before the match.
Now to the Brewer Street Fight between the Towers of Pain and the Tenacious Two. The Captain granted me a birthday wish to kick off the night (by the way, nice singing IWE fans when you sang Happy Birthday to the Connman). I was surprised when the boss told me I could do anything I wanted, whether it was to make a match, conduct a special interview, whatever.
I decided to keep Lord Lawless away from the ring by handcuffing the strange one to me. I figured this would allow the two teams to decide who indeed was better without Lawless' influence.
However, my plan failed, as Lord Lawless delivered a knee to a bad spot on a man, and stiff kicks to my chest and face. I don't know where he got a key to the cuffs, but he freed himself. I tried my best to keep this from happening, but repeated kicks and punches allowed Lord Lawless to cause the Towers of Pain to come away with a victory.
Lord Lawless sometime down the road, you will get what is coming to you. Whether it's in Cornville on May 4 when the Tenacious Two and Towers of Pain meet in a Ladder's Match, or maybe May 5 back in Brewer, or perhaps even further down the road, revenge will be coming after you.
See you soon. The Connman
