Alright a little late with this but here it is my report from Cornville.
We start off the show with our first tournament match between Scotty Vegas and Mason X an alright match nothing special and Vegas wins with a sunset flip.
We move to our 2nd tournament match as Cameron Mathews facing Roadblock. Decent match short but in the end it's Cameron with the win with a twisting crossbody block to advance to the main event.
Next was our Third Match in the tournament as Viper the American Ninja faced Crash Landing. A somewhat sloppy match but it was fun to watch and Viper gets the win.
Our final First Round Match is between One half of the Bomb Squasd John the Bomb Bryar and one of the Power Rangers i believe the Green Ranger. A fine match and a nice building point for the tag title match on March 10th as Bryar gets the win via spinebuster.
We come back with one of two Non Tournament Matches as Amazing Spiderman facing Killer Kyle Krup. This was far longer then it needed to be or at least it felt that way and Spiderman gets the win with a splash after spraying Krupp with silly string,
Next was our tag team showdown and with FANTASTIC Kyle Huntley not there stepping in is Wildman Larry Wilder to join forces with Kactus against Sonny and Jimmy. Fun Match some good comedy and in the end it's Jimmy getting the pin after hitting Wilder with the Pink Slip.
Our final of the tournament is a Four Way Elimination Match involving the winners from earlier. Order of elimination saw Bryar predictably go out first as Matthews, Vegas, and Viper triple teamed him. Next was Vegas getting a quick roll up on Viper to build their match on March 10th. Then our final two are Vegas and Matthews who put on a great close to 10 minute finale of this tournament that saw Vegas kick out of two piledrivers and eventually win with a Burning Hammer on Mathews for the win. After the match there seemed to be a little tension between Vegas and Mathews but Vegas got the microphone and says that he's been wrestling 7 years and Matthews is still better than him and they shake hands to end the show. No return date was announced for Cornville.
